Peoria Handicapping Improvements
Peoria Handicapping now offers finer control over playing handicaps: set independent caps for gross scoring versus the handicap calculation, opt in to plus handicaps for players who calculate better than scratch, and set gender-aware minimum handicap bounds — all from a redesigned configuration panel shared between tournament setup and league Day Handicapping. Existing tournaments and leagues aren't affected until you turn these on.
Smartscore Added as a GPS Cart Integration Option
Customers using Smartscore GPS carts can now connect them directly through Tournament Management. Smartscore joins the list of supported cart integration providers.

Waitlist Status on Directory Schedule
Golfers browsing a directory can now tell at a glance when an event is full but still accepting names. Directory Schedule events display a new red "Waitlist" status once a hard registration limit is reached, alongside the existing Open, Opening Soon, and Closed statuses — so golfers know they can still sign up and be placed on a waitlist instead of assuming the event is closed.
New Languages: Turkish, Norwegian, and Portuguese
Golf Genius now supports Turkish, Norwegian, and Portuguese across the Mobile App, Member Portal, and Manager Site. Each language can be turned on independently per surface — for example, an account could offer Portuguese on the Member Portal and Mobile App without enabling it on the Manager Site. Italian, Dutch, and German are also now available for the Manager Site.

New "No Payment" Option for Registration & Check-In Payments
Not every event needs to collect money. Registration & Check-In Payments now offers a third option — No Payment — alongside Registration and Check-In, hiding the payment gateway and check-in payment prompts entirely so golfers aren't stopped at the terminal for a fee that doesn't apply. Accounts can switch to No Payment even after an entry fee has already been set up.
Additional Enhancements
Hole-by-hole Win/Loss/Tie match results can now be entered for Bracket, Match Play, and Round Robin tournaments using multiple divisions with unique players per division, and for team, match play, and bracket tournaments without tee times. Once hole-by-hole results are entered for a match, the winner, status, and clear-result fields lock on the Enter Match Results page to prevent accidental overwrites. Click Here

Enter a GGID Without Logging Out
Signing out of the Club App to enter a GGID for an outside event, then signing back in for your own club later, is a hassle. Now golfers signed in with their email and password can enter a GGID for a round elsewhere — a charity outing, or a visiting club's open competition — without ever logging out.

Sporadic Match Results for Match Play
For associations running large match-play fields, getting live results while play is underway usually means constant phone calls back to the office. Sporadic Match Results changes that — a volunteer can sign in with a single GGID tied to a scoring station and update any match's live status right from the course, feeding results straight to the leaderboard for spectators to follow. Official results are still verified afterward by an administrator. This feature is enabled upon request — please contact support if you'd like to use it.

Live Activities for Team Tournaments
Live Activities — the real-time leaderboard glances available on the iPhone Lock Screen and Dynamic Island — now support team tournament formats, including Team Stroke Play and Team Stableford across Pair and Foursome groupings. Golfers playing in a supported team event can follow their team's live position without opening the app.
Additional Enhancements
For customers using Credit Balance without BRS wallet integration, golfers can now pay at check-in on the Club Score Input Terminal using their Credit Balance.

Additional Enhancements
A new GPS cart integration provider, YamaTrack, has been added for clubs and resorts running Yamaha-managed GPS cart fleets — cart assignments, course mapping, and live scoring now flow through TM the same way they do for existing cart vendors. This integration is enabled by Golf Genius staff upon request.
The Text Messaging character limit has been reduced from 500 to 300 characters (custom fields now count as 20 characters each instead of 15), with the live character counter and Send button updated to reflect the new limit. The Sent Text Messages table also now shows which manager sent each batch.

Master Roster Backfill
Facilities that don't maintain a formal membership list — a common challenge for Sim Golf venues — no longer have to manually add every golfer to the Master Roster before they can use the Club App. With Master Roster Backfill, golfers are automatically added to the Master Roster as soon as they register for an event or league, and can optionally have their account created and a welcome email sent so they can start using the Club App right away. This feature is enabled by default for Sim Golf accounts and available upon request for other customers.
Additional Enhancements
Players and admins can now print or download a receipt for payments made through the Manual Invoice function — previously only available for Open Registration payments — from the Transactions Widget, Transaction History, Payment Center, or the Edit Golfer pop-up.
For customers using OB Payments (Worldpay), members and guests can now save a credit card during checkout — for Event Registration, Manual Invoices, and Membership Programs — and reuse it for future payments with just their security code, with golfer-controlled permission for managers to charge it later.

iPhone Live Activities & Dynamic Island
No more constantly reopening the app to check where you stand. iPhone golfers using live scoring can now follow the leaderboard right from the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island as scores are posted, in real time. Tap into the full leaderboard or jump straight into scoring, all without leaving what you're doing.
This first milestone covers single and multi-round Individual Stroke Play and Stableford competitions.
Clone Multiple Events & Leagues
Cloning events and leagues one at a time is a thing of the past. With Clone Multiple Events & Leagues, available in Season Management, managers can now select up to 10 events or leagues, choose what to carry over — rosters, portals, registration forms, tournaments, and more — and track the whole cloning process from a single dashboard. This feature is enabled upon request.
Club App Navigation Redesign
The Club App's menu has a fresh new look, making it easier to get around. Alongside the redesign, the ability to select an Attester when setting the Course and Tee for No Tee Sheet rounds has been restored, and the Today's Events card now displays more clearly.
Additional Enhancements
The Club App now respects your Registration Center setting for hiding the participant list — if list visibility is off, player names and the player count are hidden in the Club App's Players section too, keeping privacy consistent across the portal and app.
The Round Scheduling Window setting, which controls when events appear on the Club App ahead of their round date, now also applies to the Club Score Input Terminal.
Digital Scorecards now highlights the player's name, not just the score, when a discrepancy is detected between a player's scores and their notes — making it easier to spot affected players even when the table is collapsed.
A new Calcutta link has been added to the Event menu, connecting Club Premium accounts directly to the BidParTee platform for calcutta wagering.

Pay at Check-In with BRS Wallet
BRS customers in the UK & Ireland can now let golfers pay their mandatory entry fee and any add-ons right at check-in on the Club Score Input Terminal, using their BRS Wallet balance. Golfers see the entry fee, available add-ons, and their current wallet balance, then confirm payment as part of checking in — no separate registration-time payment required.
GHIN Handicap History Now Available in the Club App
Golfers in GHIN handicapping regions can now view their Handicap History directly in the Club App — the same screen and design that WHS UK & Ireland members already use, with scores and index pulled from the GHIN API instead.
Credit Balance: Add Credits Online
Golfers on Credit Balance customers outside North America can now top up their own balance directly from the Player Dashboard, using a saved card or a new one via Stripe — no longer limited to manager-initiated adjustments. Managers can track top-ups separately in reporting and transaction history.

New Priority Ordering Options for Waitlists
Managers can now set waitlist priority directly from the table: sort the waitlist by any column (like date of birth or a custom field), then apply that sort order as the priority used when players are automatically promoted off the waitlist. Priority can also be set manually for individual golfers, and additional custom fields can be displayed on the waitlist view to help with prioritization decisions. Once a priority order is set, the Players Widget on the Portal reflects the same order.
Replace Golfers Using WHS Lookup
For customers in the UK & Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Qatar, and Slovakia WHS regions, a new Replace option lets managers swap out a golfer's information for another golfer looked up directly from WHS by membership number or name — updating the profile, handicap index, and WHS Member UID in one step, without disturbing pairings, teams, or divisions.
Flyers Now Available in the Report Center
Flyers can now be created, edited, and downloaded directly from the Report Center at both the Customer Center and Event/League level — a published Golf Hub page is no longer required to access them.
Additional Enhancements
Course Details now auto-fills address and map location when courses are imported, and offers address autocomplete suggestions when entering a course's location manually.
Club App customers can now set a scheduling window so rounds up to 90 days out show on the Home screen, not just today's round — useful for Sim Golf "play when you can" leagues that previously needed a new round created every day.

Introducing the Golf Genius AI Assistant (Beta)
Premium accounts can now try the new AI Assistant — a chat-based tool that lets managers handle pairings and round settings, and look up player and round information, just by typing (or speaking) a request in plain language. Available as a web app and directly inside the mobile app, the AI Assistant can swap players, add or remove players and blinds, set tee times and courses, toggle round statuses, and answer questions like "What time does Izzy play at?" — all with a confirmation step before anything changes.
The beta is rolling out in stages: internal use first, then select test accounts, then batches of Premium customers. This feature requires enablement — reach out to your Customer Success contact if you'd like early access.
New Autofill Options for Bracket Team Matches
Bracket Team Matches now offer more flexibility when filling out a bracket. A new Bracket Format option lets managers choose whether the top teams (Promotion) or bottom teams (Relegation) are autofilled based on section rankings. Additionally, on feature enablement, brackets can now be autofilled directly from the results of a multi-round tournament, rather than only from a Round Robin Team Match season.
Manually Update Doubles Golf Ratings
Managers using the Doubles Golf integration can now manually refresh player ratings directly from the Golfers tab, instead of waiting for the automatic update after scores are posted. Select which teams to update and which round the update should start from, and a timestamp shows the last time ratings were refreshed. A new Doubles Golf Rating Management Log tracks every update in detail.

New "First Round Handicap Index" Option for Divisions
Divisions built on handicap index or playing handicap criteria now offer more control over which handicap value is used for matching. Managers can choose to match golfers using their current handicap index, or the handicap index from the first round they played — helpful for multi-round events where scores shift over the course of the event. This option is available from both the Divisions page and the Event Dashboard Plus, and is fully backwards-compatible — existing divisions keep working exactly as before.
Introducing Cross Product Navigation
Managers using more than one Golf Genius product can now jump between them directly from Tournament Management, without logging in separately or hunting down a URL. A new menu icon in the top-left corner of every manager screen opens a quick-access list of your other Golf Genius products. This menu appears only on manager-facing pages and is never shown to players.
Additional Enhancements
Bracket tournaments organized by division can now be reordered using elevator bars at the division level, in addition to reordering individual brackets within a division.
Payment pages and the registration portal now display messaging clarifying that managers are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable Sales/VAT/GST/HST tax.
During Event Registration, golfers whose email is already tied to an existing Golf Genius account now see a clear message prompting them to enter their password or reset it.
Managers can now choose which divisions are visible to golfers in the registration portal, rather than showing every division created for an event.
The Registration Center now warns managers when a registration form's configuration is out of sync with the selected registration packages, and when incompatible tournament formats are configured within the same round.
Cleaned up the Unmatched Fields section shown when uploading an Event Roster via spreadsheet, removing irrelevant identifiers that don't apply to the account.

Post General Play Scores to GHIN via the Club App
Golfers checking in for a casual round can now post their General Play scores straight to GHIN from the Club App — select course, tee, and holes, enter scores hole-by-hole, and submit. The round is also recorded in Tournament Management under Check-In History & General Play.

Lock Pairings (Japan Customers Only)
Once pairings for a round have been announced to players, accidentally regenerating or editing them can cause real disruption. Japan Golf Association customers can now lock pairings for a round to prevent that — manual edits, automated regenerations, and scheduling tools are all disabled for that round until the lock is removed.
