How can I allow golfers to edit or cancel their own Golf Hub registration?

This feature is available for the following products:

Q: How can I allow golfers to edit or cancel their own Golf Hub registration?

A: Turn on Player Permissions in the event/league's registration setup (Apps > Registration). All three toggles are off by default, and golfers can only edit or cancel while registration is open. For details on turning on Player Permissions, Click Here.

Here's what golfers can do once Player Permissions are on:

  • Edit: From "View Registrations" on the Golf Hub Page, golfers click "Edit" to update first and last name, gender, and handicap ID. On free registrations, they can also add or remove golfers, as long as the total matches a "Golfers allowed per registration" option and stays within the player limit. Golfers can't be added to or removed from paid registrations.

  • Cancel: Golfers click "Cancel" and confirm. This cancels the whole registration, removes every golfer in it from the roster, frees up their spots, and sends a confirmation email. A cancellation can't be undone, so golfers who change their mind must register again.

  • Refunds: With Auto refund on, a cancelled paid registration is refunded in full to the original payment method. If Auto refund is off, or an automatic refund fails, the registration is still cancelled and you'll need to refund the golfer manually. For details, Click Here.

  • Roster updates: Edits and cancellations update the event/league roster automatically and are recorded in the Roster Activity Log.

Note: Player Permissions apply to Golf Hub registration only, not Premium registration.
