Note: Group Leaders is currently in Beta. Features and behavior may change as development continues.
Once setup is finished, a group event is run from a single results page. From there, Group Leaders send scoring links to the field, follow live Leaderboards as scores come in, enter winners for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, and finalize the round when every scorecard is in. The results page opens as soon as "Finish Setup" is clicked at the end of Setting Up a Group Event. For an overview of the full group event process, see Getting Started as a Group Leader.

The Results Page
The results page opens after "Finish Setup" is clicked in the setup wizard, and from then on it is where the event opens. At the top, it shows the event's status (Not started, Live, or Round finalized) and the following actions (as shown below):
"Finalize Results"
"Edit Event"
"Send Scoring Links"
"Enter Scores"
"View Leaderboard"

The rest of the page includes:
Next Steps Panel: Until the round is finalized, suggests sending scoring links or entering scores, watching the Leaderboards update, and finalizing once every scorecard is in.
Live Bar: While the round is in progress, shows the time of the last update and a button to refresh. Leaderboards also refresh on their own while the round is live.
Stats: The number of Players in the field, groups, games, and Players with scores in.
Tee Sheet: Each group's GGID, starting hole, tee time, and Players. Walk-on events have no groups or tee times, so these are left out.
Leaderboards: A live Leaderboard for each game, with the top three highlighted and Players whose scorecard is underway marked. Match play shows each match, or each Player's result against the field.

Sending Scoring Links
Scoring links give every Player on the tee sheet a link to keep score for their group from their phone. The first time the results page opens for a round whose scoring links have never been sent, and at least one group has Players, a "Send scoring links" window opens automatically (as shown below). Clicking "Cancel" closes it until the next time the page is opened.

To send scoring links, follow these directions:
Navigate to the event's results page.
Click "Send Scoring Links."
Confirm sending the links in the Send scoring links window.
A notice shows how many links were sent by email and how many by text message (as shown below).

How Scoring Links Are Delivered
Links are sent by email, text message, or both. Text messages go to the group's phone field when the club can send text messages.
Players with neither an email nor a phone number are skipped.
Clubs with Golf Genius App links send a link that opens the app. Other clubs send a link that signs the Player into the event portal with their group's GGID.
Players enter scores in the Golf Genius App, either from the link or by entering their group's GGID. In a browser, the link opens the event portal, where Players can follow the tee sheet and Leaderboard but cannot enter scores.
Scoring link emails are sent in the name of the Group Leader who sends them, so a Player who replies reaches that Group Leader directly.
Note: To prevent duplicate messages, scoring links can be sent once every 5 minutes per round. Sending again sooner displays a notice instead.
Entering Scores and Viewing the Leaderboard
"Enter Scores" and "View Leaderboard" open the standard Tournament Management score entry and Leaderboard pages, with a link back to the event. Finishing score entry returns to the results page.
Note: "Random Scores" and "Clear All Scores" are not available to Group Leaders.
Entering Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive Results
Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive are not scored from Players' scorecards, so they have their own section on the results page where winners are entered by hand. To enter results, follow these directions:
Navigate to the event's results page.
Click "Enter Results" in the Closest to the Pin or Longest Drive section.
For each Player who placed, enter the following (as shown below):
Position: The Player's finishing position.
Purse: The amount won.
Points: The points earned.
Details: Optional details, such as the distance.

Each value is saved as soon as the next field is selected. A result can be cleared if it was entered by mistake. When finished, positions are recalculated from the purse and points.
Finalizing Results
Finalizing completes the round. Live updating stops, the Leaderboards are recalculated one last time and become final, and the purse and points set on the Games step are awarded. To finalize results, click "Finalize Results" on the results page (as shown below).

Notes:
Finalizing does not ask for confirmation and cannot be undone from the results page.
Results are visible to Players from the moment setup is finished, so finalizing closes out the event rather than publishing the results.
Editing the Event
Click "Edit Event" on the results page to return to the setup wizard and make changes. A round that has already started is not started again when setup is finished.
What's Next
To play the same game again, clone this event to reuse its games and settings with a fresh field of Players. For details on cloning an event, Click Here.
