Many of the settings that shape how an event/league portal looks and behaves for Players — color scheme, banner, background image, flash messages, and more — live together on a single screen. Rather than tracking each setting down individually, Managers can review and update all of them at once from the General Portal Settings page.
In this article, we will discuss the settings available on the General Portal Settings page:

Accessing General Portal Settings
To access General Portal Settings, follow these directions:
Navigate to the event/league portal using the Event/League Dashboard "Portal" tile, or Apps > Member Portal Address.
Hover over any section on the portal.
Select "General Portal Settings" (as shown below).
Public Pages
Use the "Set Portal Pages to Public/Private" link to bulk-manage which portal pages Players can view without logging in, and which require a login. For complete details, Click Here.
Color Scheme
The color scheme sets the color used for the area below the banner and for the buttons throughout the portal’s pages. Choose from the standard color options, or use the color code picker to enter a specific HEX or RGBA value. For details on finding a specific color code, Click Here.
Background Image and Opacity
The background image covers the entire backsplash of the portal. Select the current portal background image, choose another uploaded image, or remove the background entirely. Use the Background Opacity slider to lighten or darken the image, which can make the portal’s pages easier to read. For more details on managing background images, Click Here.
Banner Selection and Link
The banner displays at the top of the portal. Select the current banner, choose another uploaded banner, or remove the banner entirely. Enter a Banner link to make the banner clickable. For more details on managing banners, Click Here.
Flash Message
A flash message scrolls across every page of the portal to share information with Players. Enter the message, choose whether to include the manager’s name, and select whether to show the message to everyone or only to Players who have logged in (via GGID, SSO, or email and password). For details on setting or removing a flash message, Click Here.
Google Analytics ID
Enter a Google Analytics Tracking ID to monitor traffic to the portal. Enter the ID in the form UA-XXXXXXXX-X, which can be found in Google Analytics Admin settings. For details on tracking portal usage through Google Analytics, Click Here.
Search Engine Visibility
Check "Visible in Internet Search Results" to make the public pages of the portal visible to search engines such as Google and Bing.
Support Managers
Support Managers are the Event Managers and Customer Managers listed when a Player clicks the "Help" button on the portal. Players can email a Support Manager directly from this list. For details on managing the Customer Managers listed in the Help popup, Click Here.
Custom HTML Code
Select "Enable Custom HTML Content" to display custom HTML above or below the content on every page of the portal. This is commonly used for advanced Google Analytics settings, Facebook Pixel, or Doubleclick ads. For details on adding custom HTML to a portal, Click Here.
Reordering Sections
Drag and drop the sections listed at the bottom of General Portal Settings to change their order on the portal. For more details on managing sections, Click Here.
