BRS Golf is the leading supplier of tee sheets within the UK and has partnered with Golf Genius to bring you a complete competition management products. This solution integrates BRS Golf's tee sheet and member booking website and app, the World Handicapping System (WHS), and Golf Genius tournament management software.

Competition Tee Sheet Integration:

When managing your competition with BRS and Golf Genius, it is possible to integrate your BRS tee sheet with your Golf Genius Event. When linking the BRS tee sheet and Golf Genius event, you will save time in competition management and create a seamless experience for your golfers.

- Roll-up Competition Setup

Master Roster Integration:

The BRS “users” database syncs automatically with the Golf Genius Master Roster every day at 2 a.m. This synchronization brings across the following information:

First Name
Last Name
Email Address
BRS Username (number)
Membership Type / Category
Membership Number (WHS Number)

Furthermore, the Master Roster is integrated with WHS. This synchronization occurs at approximately 5 a.m. every day. This sync brings across the following information:

First Name
Last Name
Gender
WHS Number
Handicap Index

The synchronization will then marry up the two records and create one record with all details in your Golf Genius Master Roster.

Adding New Members:

When a new member joins your golf club, you must add them to your BRS and WHS roster. The overnight database syncs will then add them to your Golf Genius Master Roster.

You can also perform a Master Roster refresh from WHS occasionally to ensure that all data fields are synced. From the customer center, go to Master Roster > Refresh Master Roster from WHS (as shown below).

BRS Scoring App Integration:

The BRS Golf App and BRS Scoring App use Single Sign-On Authentication. This means that your BRS account details will provide you with “access to all areas.”

The BRS Scoring App also allows you to:
- Enter Competition Scores
- Enter General Play Scores
- View Handicap Index
- View Competition Results
- View Club Information

BRS Payment Integration

Golf Genius and BRS are integrated to support payment collection at check-in on the Club Score Input Terminal (CSIT). This allows golfers to pay their mandatory competition entry fee and any optional add-ons during the check-in process, with charges applied directly to the golfer's BRS competition wallet.

Before using check-in payments, the BRS Purse must be enabled on your account. To enable this, contact the BRS team directly. For BRS support contact details, see the BRS Support Information section below.

There are three setup scenarios depending on how your competition is created and where charging is configured:

BRS Competition Setup with BRS Charging: The competition is created in BRS and charging is configured within BRS at the time of tee booking. To use this option, enable Use Competition Charging and select Use BRS charging process under Competition Charging Configuration in BRS (as shown below). When this option is selected, the Registration & Check-In Payments section will not appear in Golf Genius.

BRS Competition Setup with Golf Genius Charging: The competition is created in BRS, and charging is configured to occur at check-in via the Golf Genius CSIT. To use this option in BRS, enable Use Competition Charging, then select Use Golf Genius charging at check-in under Competition Charging Configuration (as shown below). When this option is selected, the Registration & Check-In Payments section will become available in Golf Genius, where the mandatory charge and any add-ons can be configured. Golf Genius Competition Setup with Golf Genius Charging (Roll-Up): The competition is created directly in Golf Genius without tee sheet integration with BRS. When the account is fully integrated with BRS, the Registration & Check-In Payments option will appear under the Event tab, where the mandatory charge and any add-ons can be configured.
