Q: I created flights, but the leaderboard for our tournament is not separating by the flights. What can I do to fix this?
A: The steps to resolve this depend on whether you are using Individual Flights or Team Flights. Review the relevant section below to identify and correct the issue.
Individual Flights
If you are using individual flights, please review the following:
If you are using flights within division, go to the tournament setup and make sure you have selected the proper division. You will need to re-select the competition if the divisions were not selected.
Go to your tournament setup and make sure the Competition is set to "vs. Flight". For individual flight competition, select "Player v. Flight" (as shown below). For detials on creating flights, Click Here.
Ensure you have added players to your flights:
Event/League Level: If you are managing flights that will be used for all rounds, navigate to your flights by going to Golfers > Event/League Divisions / Flights / Teams > Managed Flighted Golfers
Round Level: This is more commonly used for leagues. If you are managing flights for a specific round, navigate to Rounds > Select the Round > Round Division / Flights / Teams > Manage Flighted Golfers.
Team Flights
If you are using team flights, please review the following:
Go to your tournament setup and make sure the following is set:
Divisions: If you are using flights within division, go to the tournament setup and make sure you have selected the proper division. You will need to re-select the competition if the divisions were not selected. For details on creating divisions, Click Here.
Team List Selected: Make sure the proper team list has been selected. For details on creating a team list, Click Here.
Competition set to Flights: Make sure the Competition is set to "vs. Flight". For team flight competition, select "Pair v. Flight" or "Foursome v. Flight" depending on your need (as shown below). For details on creating team flights, Click Here.
Division / Flights / Teams are Not Synced
If the leaderboard still is not separating by flight, let's make sure your Divisions, Flights, and Teams are in sync. This could mean that the Round Division / Flights / Teams are not using the same Event/League (Global) Division / Flights / Team. You can first take the opportunity to review your Round DFTs by navigating to Rounds > Select the Round > Round Division / Flights / Teams. When reviewing them, and the Round DFT's are supposed to be in sync with Event/League DFT's, Click Here for instructions on syncing them.
