Note: Leaderboards 2.0 is currently in Beta. Features and behavior may change as development continues.
Leaderboards 2.0 is a Beta Program that rebuilds the classic leaderboard on a new scoring engine, with a cleaner design for following live scoring and scores reaching the leaderboard up to 70% faster on large events. Players and spectators can sort any column, search for a player, favorite players, and switch rounds from one selector. Customer Managers turn it on from the Beta Programs page.

The Alphabetical Tournament Results Portal page is not available with Leaderboards 2.0. Sorting and player search cover the same need.
Enabling Leaderboards 2.0
Leaderboards 2.0 is turned off by default. To enable Leaderboards 2.0, follow these directions:
From the Customer Center, navigate to Customer Settings > Beta Programs.
Locate the Leaderboards 2.0 section and select "Enabled" (as shown below).
Click "Save" to apply the settings.
Leaderboards 2.0 does not require a re-score. Leaderboards update the next time the page is refreshed.
Tournament Results Portal Page
Players and spectators see Leaderboards 2.0 on the All Tournament Results Portal page.
Round Selector and Columns
When an Event/League has more than one round, a round selector appears at the top left of the leaderboard. It lists every round that is in progress or completed. For multi-round tournaments with round snapshots, choosing a round shows the tournament as it stood after that round (as shown below).
Under the round selector, the leaderboard lists the tournaments in the selected round, collapsed. If the round has only one tournament, it opens automatically.
The search and share icons sit on the right side of the header. Clicking the share icon copies the leaderboard link to the clipboard.
The columns change with the state of play:
Before play: Thru shows each player's starting time.
During play: Thru shows holes played and Today shows the player's score for the round.
Round complete: Thru and Today drop off. The leaderboard keeps the position, player, total, and round score columns.
Multi-round tournaments: A column is added for each round. While a round is in progress, the position change column shows how each player has moved since the previous round (as shown below).
Player Scorecard
Expanding a player's row opens their scorecard under the row, one round at a time. The top of the scorecard shows the player's photo, name, and country, with an arrow that opens their player profile. In a multi-round tournament, the scorecard has its own round selector. Click the course name or the round name to show the hole yardages (as shown below).
Scores are marked with either Colors with Circles and Squares or Circles and Squares only. This is set in the hole-by-hole view option in the Event/League Profile. For details on changing it, Click Here.
Sorting
Every column can be sorted by clicking its header, except the favorites and position change columns (as shown below). The sorted column is shaded. Clicking the same header again reverses the order. This example shows the Thru column sorted.
Position: The default order. Click the position header to return to it.
Player: Sorts alphabetically by last name.
Thru: Lists players who have not teed off first, by starting time, then players already on the course.
Round columns: Sorts by that round's score, lowest first, so viewers can see who played that round best.
Player Search
Click the magnifying glass in the leaderboard header to search for a player by name. Search covers the whole Event/League, so it finds a player in any round or tournament. Each result shows the player's affiliation underneath, which helps tell apart players with similar names (as shown below).
Expanding a result lists every tournament the player is in, with their position, total, Thru, and round score. Click a tournament to jump to the player's row on that leaderboard. If nothing matches, the search shows "No results."
Favorites and My Leaderboards
Click the star on a player's row, or beside their name in search results, to add them as a favorite. A favorite applies to the whole Event/League, so the player is marked as a favorite in every tournament and round they play.
Leaderboards that include a favorite move into a My Leaderboards section at the top of the page, above the remaining Leaderboards section. Opening a leaderboard from My Leaderboards shows only the favorite players. Click "Full Leaderboard" to see the rest of the field (as shown below).
Note: Favorites are saved on the device or browser where they were set, not on the player's account.
Points and Purse Summaries
The Player Points Summary and Player Purse Summary use the Leaderboards 2.0 layout. Each tournament column has an info icon in its header that identifies the tournament (as shown below).
Customized Tournament Results Portal Page
The Customized Tournament Results Portal page uses the same layout, header, search, and share as the Tournament Results Portal page. The round selector only appears when the selected tournaments cover more than one round or include a multi-round tournament. A selection made within a single round shows no round selector (as shown below).
Golf Genius App and Mobile Browsers
Leaderboards 2.0 works in mobile browsers and in the Golf Genius App. The round is chosen from the selector at the top. Players are listed by first initial and last name, with their affiliation underneath. The header has rotate, share, and search icons, and columns sort the same way as on the Tournament Results Portal page (as shown below).
Expand View: In multi-round tournaments, tap "Expand View" to show the round columns, and "Collapse View" to hide them. Single-round tournaments do not have Expand View.
Rotate: Tap the rotate icon to switch to landscape and back. Landscape shows the full table and all 18 holes of the scorecard.
Share: Opens the phone's share options.
Search: Search sits inside the switch rounds window. Typing a name replaces the list of rounds with matching players.
Scorecard: Tap a player to open their scorecard with the round, date, and course. The hole yardages can be shown on demand.
Favorites: Star players the same way as on the Tournament Results Portal page.
The Points and Purse Summaries show the round total and overall total first. Tap "Expand View" or rotate the phone to see the tournament columns.
Manager Site
To view the Manager Site leaderboard, navigate to Rounds > Leaderboard. It uses the Leaderboards 2.0 layout and sorting, and keeps the following:
The option to show or hide the cut line
The Show/Hide Points and Purse control
The tournament status bar at the bottom of the page
Because the Manager Site opens within a round, it does not have a round selector. Player search, share, favorites, and the player profile arrow are also not available. On a phone, the switch tournaments window lists only the tournaments in the current round. Adjusting and printing the leaderboard work the same way (as shown below).
Disabling Leaderboards 2.0
To turn Leaderboards 2.0 off, follow the directions in Enabling Leaderboards 2.0 and select "Disabled." Leaderboards go back to the classic leaderboard, and no data is lost.
