A: You can now map your own custom text (e.g., translated terms like プロフェッショナルまたは賞金目的のプレーヤー and アマチュア) to the system’s Professional and Amateur statuses. This ensures that even if you use unique or translated labels, the system still recognizes who is a pro for payouts, leaderboards, and eligibility rules.
Follow these steps to assign your own custom text to the Pro and Amateur custom field and link them across events/leagues (Note: This can be done at the customer level default settings, or at the event/league level):
Edit the system custom field for "Pro or Amateur" based on your needs:
All Future Events/League (Default Settings): From the Customer Center, navigate to Customer Settings > Custom Fields.
Existing Event/League: From the Event/League, navigate to Event/League > Custom Fields.
Click "Edit" for the Pro or Amateur customer fields (as shown below).
Update the "Answer Type" for Professional and Amateur (as shown below).
Click "Save" to apply the settings.
Update the General Setting based on your needs:
All Future Events/League (Default Settings): From the Customer Center, navigate to Customer Settings > Default Settings > General Settings tab.
Existing Event/League: From the Event/League, navigate to Event/League > Event/League Profile > General Settings tab.
Scroll to the section title "Pros and Amateurs." Reassign the Pro and Amateur dropdowns (as shown below). Note: To be able to select an alternative option, the alternative option must be selected in at least one player's profile.
